Who we are
Child development Uganda is Christian founded organization, registered as community based organization with a core purpose of transforming the suffering child into a meaning full fruitful person who will also transform others.
Mission
To transform the suffering child into a meaningful and fruitful person who will also transform others into meaningful living.
Vision
To demonstrate God’s love and care to the destitute thus causing rivers of victory and joy in their lives.
Objectives & Aims
1. To sponsor and train children
2. Educate communities on child are and welfare and children’s rights
3. Mobilize and channel resource relevant to the needs of the needy children
4. Care for the spiritual, moral, economic and physical needs of the children.
5. Open churches for spiritual development
6. Advocate for children’s right and defend the same.
State of faith
God – We believe in the trinity, one God existing in three persons (Father, Son and Holy
Spirit).
Man – We believe man is the direct creation of God. Adam, the first man sinned and
brought death to mankind.
Salvation - we believe salvation is by grace through faith alone in Christ Jesus.
Bible -we believe the bible to be inspired word of God.
sponsorship and training children
1. I) we offer sponsor ship for every registered child
a) The child accesses school fees payment
b) Payment of medical bills
c) The child is given the opportunity to exercise his or her faith through service
d) The child is taken out to tours for social development
ii). we train children in leadership skills
a) Bible studies
b) Evangelism
c) Clubbing
d) Children’s right and children duties at home
e) Health care and AIDS care services
f) Vocation skills and Tree planting
2. Educate communities on child are and welfare and children’s rights
We train caregivers of our registered children on various issues pertaining Child
Development this is to say:-
1. Child welfare (Right feeding and food)
2. Listening to children
3. Child Abuse
4. Parenting ,Aids care and services
5. malaria prevention methods
6. Income generating skills and loans
7. family planning methods
Mobilizing resources and channeling it.
· We encourage local contribution to programs when need arises.
· We also seek for sponsors and donors to support the children and the entire program.
Center days and socializations
· Children are encouraged to attend the centre days for full health inspection and lesson drilling
Opening churches for spiritual development
· We begin churches in local areas after proclaiming, training, and teaching the word of God.
· The fellowship is begun to help the community to feel the presence of God and learn to seek Him
· We have already one church which we started early this year and we are hoping for greater work to be done in Jesus’ name
Child Advocacy
- We say No to child Abuse
- We train the children in issues pertaining children right and child abuse.
- We protect and promote children’s rights.
